Zjanya Arwood-Wenke
Doctoral Student
Zjanya Arwood-Wenke, B.S., is a doctoral student in the General Clinical PhD program in the Department of Psychology at UNCW. She coordinates the National Consortium on Alcohol and Neurodevelopment in Adolescence (NCANDA) research at UNCW under the supervision of Dr. Nooner. She completed her bachelor's degree in neuropsychology at the University of Cincinnati. She has research experience in child development, and completed her undergraduate honors thesis on the relationship between childhood trauma and brain development.

Tamera Treadwell
Doctoral Student
Tamera Treadwell, B.A., is a doctoral student in the General Clinical PhD program with the Department of Psychology program at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She coordinates the Adolescent Resilience study examining alcohol use, childhood trauma, and brain function with EEG. She completed her bachelor's degree at UNCW performing concussion assessments and examining traumatic brain injury.

Lainey Butler
Doctoral Student
Lainey Butler, B.A., is a doctoral student in the General Clinical PhD program with the Department of Psychology at UNCW. She coordinates the Adolescent Resilience study examining alcohol use, childhood trauma, and brain function with EEG under the supervision of Dr. Nooner. She completed her bachelor's degree in psychology at North Carolina State University while working in the lab of Dr. Halberstadt examining how teacher affect the emotional development of their students. She also worked in the lab of Dr. Norwalk examining how to better support foster families with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Her interests include suicidality, childhood trauma, and substance use.

Mary Milo Woodley
Doctoral Student
Mary Milo Woodley, B.A, is a doctoral student in the General Clinical PhD program in the Department of Psychology at UNCW. She is working on the National Consortium on Alcohol and Neurodevelopment in Adolescence (NCANDA) under the supervision of Dr. Nooner. She completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in neuroscience at UNCW while working in the Aging, Cognition, and Training Lab under Dr. Toth and Dr. Daniels. Her research interests include substance use, trauma, resilience, and neurodevelopment.

Sophia Laney
Master's Student
Sophia Lainey, B.A., is a master's student in the Psychological Sciences master's program in the Department of Psychology at UNCW. She completed her bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in neuroscience at New College of Florida while working in Dr. Casto's lab. Her research interests include childhood adverse experiences and the intersection of the menstrual cycle and mental health.
