Prospective Undergraduate & Graduate Students

UNCW undergraduate and graduate student researchers and volunteers are a vital part of our lab. Students have the opportunity to become involved in many aspects of research, from recruitment to trauma and alcohol use assessments to helping with EEG. If you are interested in joining Dr. Nooner's vibrant lab, please follow the instructions below.

Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate students interested in becoming a part of the TRLab should click here to download our lab application.

Undergraduate students typically apply in January or February to start working in the summer or fall. Applications are also accepted in October and November for a January start.

Graduate Students

Dr. Kate Brody Nooner will not accept General Clinical Doctoral students for the upcoming academic year. She will consider Psychological Science Master's students. 

Interested graduate students are encouraged to email Dr. Nooner directly and to review the Psychology Department website for general information about our graduate programs. Information about our General Clinical Doctoral Program can be found at UNCW's Ph.D. program in Clinical Psychology. Information about our Psychological Science Paster's Program can be found at UNCW's M.S. program in Psychology.
